So yesterday, I traded in my 11 DCLB PreRunner on a 2013 Dodge Ram with the Hemi engine. I got offered more money for the Taco than I owed on it, and got the Ram for $7k below sticker. Hated to trade it in, but the deal was too good to pass up. Drove it back from Atlanta today and averaged 19.2 MPG.

I will have a set of Husky floor liners for sale shortly.

Thanks for all the info and help from everybody at TW!

    John

Someone will buy his traded in Taco say they are glad they didn't get a ram. Good luck on the repair bills as it ages. They are good when new, but show their age rather quickly.

I bet it get's horrible city mpg and you will hate paying to gas it up.

You came out ahead trading in the Taco. I doubt that will be the case if you decide to trade in the Ram. At any rate, enjoy your new ride.

Thanks! It's really nice. It has a lot of things on it that I see people wishing for on their Tacoma. Heated mirrors, power locking tailgate, rear disc brakes, better suspension are just a few.

And you know about the city mileage how? Lemme guess your wife's cousin's sister knows a guy that has one and he said.....

They might say that they are glad they got the Taco instead of the Ram until they try and load it down, and realize it has shitty suspension, and the brakes aren't up to par. Ask me how I know... And I drive and 18 wheeler, so I know a little about towing stuff.

Considering that I drive my work truck back and forth from the house, the mileage won't be piling up on it, so I'm not too worried.

Thanks. Don't plan on trading it. It's exactly what I need/want. Will probably drive this one for quite a while.

It's got a lot of power. Thanks!

Nope, it's from personal experience. Unfortunately I drive a ram for work. It's a '12 1500. I don't pay for the gas, so I am happy.

Well, you should leave TW right away since you got a ram. No sense on have everyone bash you for it, unless that's your intention and the reason you announced it to all the TW people.

    As requested.

Went to a Regular Cab, cause it's huge, and I don't really need the double cab.

The rams are great looking vehicles, please don't call them trucks, people who work for me don't even call them trucks. They look good. And are relatively inexpensive for their accessories. They do not hold their value and are not trucks.

One of my employees has a 2005 Dodge Ram and wants a Tacoma but won't trade it in because there is no resale value on it, he knows he has to drive it til it dies.
