Just finished having a set of ICON add-a-leafs along with ICON Hyd.bump stops installed. I got the bump stops at a killer price thanks to the great guys at EASTERN TRUCK ACCESSORIES, big props to owner Mike Slater, at a open house the guys had this past weekend for Cystic Fibrosis. Looks pretty killer and the rear end rides so much better with the add-a-leafs, haven't tired the stop yet, hope I don't need to, LOL.

Thanks for the pics, I have been thinking about getting a pair. How was the install? Seems pretty straight forward.

Pretty straight forward, about 1.5 to 2 hrs.

Did you have the add a leaf before with out the bump stops? I have the icon add a leaf and hope these will make the back end smoother. Any opinions?

I did not have the bump stops until I got the add-a-leafs. The bump stops do not have anything to do with the rear end riding smoother under regular driving conditions,
they are just for extreme rear axel spring flex when off roading or hittin the whoops.

Any tips for knocking out the pins that hold the old bump plate on? I got them grounded down but I'm having a helluva time punching them through. I'm gonna spray some penetrating oil on them and let it sit overnight. See if that works.

I dont know if you finally got this going but I too had a hard time with the pins as well. Installed mine this past saturday. Ended up drilling out a bit and bought an air hammer and knocked them out like that. It was a pain but I eventually got them out. Install took me about 8 hrs but I dont have a lift, stopped for a lunch break and took some time to clean off the old shocks, was doing everything on jack stands, had to run and buy a small air hammer (had originally started with a cold chisel set but couldnt get the bottom 2 rivets out). Heck, it took me about 2 hours to get everything back on and buttoned up. I do like to work slow to not mess anything up but it turned out perfect.

So I finally got mine on. I can probably say I'm an expert now. I started doing it the old school way with a grinder, sledge, punch, and chisel. After a few hours, I took the truck to work and borrowed an air hammer which made all the difference. By the time I got to the second side, I knocked it out in no time at all.
