It's amazing to me how much longer the DCLB looks compared to the Access Cab considering it's actually only 13" longer.

Exactly my point! Why do people (myself included) think the DCLB is so much longer than the access cab or DCSB when the difference is 13"?

Well... I can fit my mountain bike in a DCLB. But not in a DCSB. So for me it's a clear difference.

I love the long bed. I really liked my AC but have a kiddie now and need a bigger back seat, so I got the DCLB. When the kiddie grows up I will probably be back to an AC!

Wut back. The dealer gave me a 2013 fully load long bed while they were fixing their errors on my lifted reg cab. It was a really nice driving truck. I like short wheel base for wheeling but i havent done any 'real' wheeling for months and am thinking i may not do a ton of it in the future and am now looking to something bigger than what i have with of course a longer wheelbase!

I like the Xtracab. Single cab isn't enough for me, but DCSB and DCLB are too much for me. Having an Xtracab gives me enough space in the back of the cab to haul extra stuff, or people, if I want to, but it's not overly ginormous.

If I get another AC I am tearing the back seat out all together and building something for better storage. The only passenger back there will be the dog! Not a place for people as far as I am concerned.

IF they made a DCLB w/ a TRD Offroad package AND a 6-speed manual trans they would have had me.

Since this is not an option AC is the only solution.

The DCSB is laughable, man.

Saw 3 parked next to each other at Stevens Pass yesterday, they sure as shit didn't put their skis in the bed .....my legacy wagon can haul more gear than a 4' bed.
