I saw these referenced in another thread, but after searching a bunch here, that's the ONLY thread I saw them in, so here goes...

Vehicle Systems sells Latch Bars in 9" and 13" lengths. I ordered the ones for the Tundra, and whaddayaknow... they fit the Tacoma just fine. :) Shipping was quick, and the packaging was...umm...overkill...LOL

Awesome little accessory that'll help when you load an atv, bike, etc. The tailgate should be weight-bearing with these, mind you, but they might be just the ticket when you need just a bit extra.

The 13" units I ordered look to hold the tailgate at about a 30 degree-ish angle.

(From their website - not my truck)

I totally stumbled across it here when someone answered another thread and linked to it. Ordered a set that night - handy little gems to have stowed behind the seat!

Awesome glad to know they worked. I was surprised I didn't find anything about them when I searched the forum. Ive ran across similar things on an atv forum but nothing to my liking. I guess ill go ahead and order them. Or it be cool to make something that is adjustable if 30* doesn't cut it

Yeah, I haven't rolled the KTM into the bed yet to actually, you know, "try" this out... but I figured it'd be worth the $50 to have them regardless. I'll give it a whirl over the summer, but given my tonneau will need to be unbolted, it's a pretty committed test...LOL
