good idea? bad idea? --nerf bars--

i recently put a 3" lift on my 09 tacoma im upgrading to 285 55 18 tires and im not much of a fan of how the nerf bars are just under the door jemb you minght as well just jump into the truck instead of useing them so is it a good idea if i would lower the nerf bars about an inch or two im not even sure if i can lower them unless i weld a bracket onto them chime in if you got anything

get the n-fab ones. check them out and see if u like them better.
