I'm a newbie and not sure how to post to specific categories, so I'm trying here. I have spent some time searching for a thread on center dash removal to no avail. Once the radio/faceplate is out, I need to get to the TPMS ECU so I can take a hammer to it. I can see it through the small hole in the lower center dash panel. The light blinks and the tire shop reset it about 2 months ago and it recognized all 5 sensors, but on a recent long trip, the light came back on and blinks continuously (malfunction). The tire shop tried a 2nd time, but their computer would not even interface this time. I suspect ECU or bad connection. If disconnecting the ECU doesn't kill the light, I'll either be doing one of the other fixes posted here. I'm not playing the games with the dealership. I monitor my tires regularly and can do away with the system if it's not going to cooperate.
