If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
Agreed! That color would look badass on a Taco. I  everytime I see an FJ in that color.

I voted for MGM as that's the color I wanted, found BSP for the right price thought it was black till I washed and detailed it - love it till it rains which has been within 2 days of washing it lately so????????????????

the pearl white on the highlander's is beautiful but what would it look like on a Taco?

When I bought mine (used) I either wanted black, silver, or white... Bought black because it was the first one I found in my price range with the equipment I wanted. It's a beautiful truck, but impossible to keep clean, shows scratches like a mofo, and is very hot in our south Texas summers. My next one will be white for sure!

We see silver streak mica more than most any other color because it's one of only two colors that's been around since 05. Super Milk is the other. MGM is a real success story since it was introduced in 09. That's also why its harder to find used.

I wanted white or silver when I was shopping for a used Tacoma last year. I didn't care about the cab configuration or engine size, as long as it was a 4X4 manual trans. After a month and a half of fruitless searching, I found an 05 SR5 double cab six-speed manual with 46000 miles on it at a Mazda dealership. The asking price was killer because it had a scraped-up right quarter panel. The interior was perfect and the undercarriage was pristine even in places that never get washed, indicating it had rarely been taken off road.

The only thing wrong was the Desert Sand Mica, AKA "Grandma Gold" color. I pretended to be bummed about the dent, I was actually bummed about the color, I was impatient with the salesman and ended up negotiating a price I was extremely happy with.

At first I hated the color but had to admit it looked better on a truck than on a Camry. One year later, its my favorite Tacoma color. I rarely see another Tacoma the same color as mine. I park in a dirt lot every day at work and the dirt-hiding ability is even better than white. After the sun goes down it looks like a silver Tacoma. Now I don't understand why it was such an unpopular color...

You don't understand why Buick beige is unpopular?

Like Toyotas advertising team, I like the darker red colors.

If I had to choose again I'd go with the Super White. I was prejudiced against it before since it's not clear coated. But then it's titanium-oxide based paint so it's super hard and durable already, no need for clear coat. I had a choice between silver and super white, went with the silver and I've had my regrets since then. The white one I was looking at went through two dealer swaps and had 98 miles on it, the silver was new to the lot so I went with the silver mica.

Recently bought a 2013 MGM 4x4 Off Road, intentionally picking that color due to it being the best of the current offerings, and wanted MGM since it came out. That being said, I would pick Desert Sand Mica over any other color available since day 1. It shows dirt the least, and is the one color you almost never see around. Both great reasons to pick it.

The colors I'd like is either the ancient beige-yellow on the pre-Taco trucks or that light grey the 4Runner had for a few years. I'm a drab kind of guy for the outside. Muted clothing, but flashy underwear is the way I roll . . . .

All colors are clear coated. The only automakers that still sell new vehicles with single stage are those from 3rd world countries. Anything sold in US or Canada has it
