Spare Tire Problem "HELP"

Bought a truck and did not come with spare tire tools. Ordered tools from Toyota overstock but tools too big. Any suggestions??

 

What about the tools is too big? You could grind down the hook so that it will fit into that slot.

 

Don't have a grinder

Run down to your local Horrible Fright and get a file for a couple of bucks. Just takes a little longer than a grinder.

 

I was thinking the same thing. I use a file to sharpen my mower blades. No need for a fancy grinder!

 

how bout use a screwdriver. then get a tire gate and never have to worry about that again

 

I was thinking that but my extensions from the spare tire kit don't even match up. Damn Toyota

 

screwdriver way too small.
