okay anytime you can add a psi or two not much more than that because now your treading into tuning territory. Well this is my thought to a point a 1psi or 2 would should cause a little better fuel to air atomization. I think this very well could give help to a tired fuel system thus ministriul at the least but better or crispier throttle response; maybe even slightly better gas mpg. In a former life i used to be a performance geek with some really fast street cars not exactly sure how this will carry into my tacoma. but in the end more fuel, timing, air, fire= power.....let me hear your thoughts.

    Nope.
The system was designed to run at the pressure it runs at, assuming a good fuel pump and clean system.
Screwing around with that, especially by stretching or crushing springs, will more likely result in the engine running too rich. Less power, worse MPG, confused computer, CEL.

Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
Just remember: more fuel ALWAYS means more air. If you're talking more pressure, while keeping everything else the same, you're talking more fuel. And the only way I know of to get more air is through forced induction.
Which is my way of repeating what Rich said.
