Does this happen on all the different pumps available and/or at every different gas station that you go to?

I'm pretty sure its the pump itself and not your truck. But until you go to different gas stations and/or try different pumps .....

You could try to pivot the knozzle slightly.... or pull it out a bit.

I am sure that it's the pump and not your truck. I have had this samething happen to me when I have gone to certain gas stations. Try different stations and different pumps. That's the only thing that you can really do. So don't worry, it's not your truck.

Yeah I'd try what Janster said. Dont cram it in there too deep. And if you do pull out, don't end up shooting it all over the place :drevil:

I had a charcole canister replaced in my Gen 1. They had to remove the bed from the frame to reach it. Now I pull it out when it first clicks off. Never over fill.

If you wait until your tank's fully empty, there's a lot of air to displace that may trigger the pump handle sensor. Do you have the same problem when topping your tank up from 1/2 full?
