Having some rake is not only good for hauling loads but it also helps you see over the hood a little better. Even being able to see a few more inches in front of you helps out on the trail. I removed the third leaf and it rides pretty soft, but i am not sure how much stiffer if any it would be with the leaf in the pack.

In my own experience and opinion, YES I did notice quite a bit of difference in the ride. I was also concerned with load capacity after removing the 3rd leaf. I still have greater capacity with the 3rd leaf removed than I did with the TSB Pack.

It is an easy thing to change out and back if needed.

I have OME with trim packer, and the toytec .25 spacer up front which has given me a little bit more than 2.5". With the full pack I was still tail high. I removed the 3rd leaf from the top and it sits level and rides very nice.
I don't find that Dakars all that stiff. I think they're pretty plush for the first little bit of travel. I like them. Guess it's a personal preference kind of thing.

Any pics of your setup?

Right now after driving about 10 miles, the dakars gave me 3" in the back, and up front is set at 2.5" from icons. I will tweak it next weekend. Numbers with fibermax cover and full tank: DF: 23 3/8"/DR: 24 5/8"; PF: 23 11/16"/PR: 25 3/16"

Any feedback on adjustments or am I good like it is? Took about 7 hours to install everything and adjust. I have a take off shudder from 7-9 mph so any help with that would be appreciated. I did install 3 degree shims and re torqued everything.

Anyone with thoughts, or just let the dakars settle and see if the vibes settle?

Budgeted $3500 for tires/wheels/lift thoughts?

So I went out and adjusted the icons some more and can't seem to get the taco lean out without taking my drivers side shock down too far. Right now the measures are DF: 23 3/16 (2.25" thread showing); and PF: 23 1/2 (1 11/16" thread showing) makes it a little over .5" difference in threads. The DF still has 2 3/8" of travel left though.
Anyway, going to get the wheels and tires on Friday. Got the VSC checked at the dealer today and no issues.
Carrier bearing drop and superbumps go on next Thursday. Hopefully the drop will get rid of my 7-9 mph shudder.
