How many TRD Off-Roads Have/Want a Hood Scoop?

I just got me a skewp. Waiting for it to be painted. Cost me a total of 350 to order get the scoop insert and paint.

 

Well doc, there's this guy on Tacomaworld. He has a double cab AND a long bed (I know, I know...) and he just keeps trying to make EVERYONE have the same thing! It just isn't fair.

 

We can't all have the ultimate Tacoma offering , so while I pity the non DCLB Sport crew , I don't try to make everyone have the same thing

I'd take the scoop looks more aggressive

 

I took my buddies scooped when he went with a carbon fiber one. I love the look but to be honest it reflects sunlight in the cab much more frequently since the swap. Minor details though

 

Functional would be preferred, but alas, I like mine.................

 

Anybody put hood vents or Louvers in?

 

as a lurker who lives vicariously through many of you guys and your builds, my taco is stock and so i'll qualify my response a little at the end.
the scoop trucks remind me of the guy in the gym that only does biceps, chest and back while totally ignoring the lower part of his body. the scoop makes the truck look too big up front for the rest of the body. big guys that has to turn sideways to fit through the door frame but when he's not wearing pajama pants at the bench press, he's got chicken legs.

now...you guys that alter your suspensions and make all these badass wheel/tire combo mods (which it appears i may be the only one who doesn't on TW (boooooo)) have made up and the truck looks proportional and awesome. now my cousin who has a stock sport...the truck is trying to hard.

I like my scoop, but sometimes the glare from the sun is a bitch lol

 

I just want the color matched grill and rear bumper off the sports, I don't want the scoop.
