Hello, I have been doing a ton of research on here and I think I have decided on what I want to do to my truck. From everything I have read I think I am going to go with Firestone destination a/ts in 265/75/16 . That is the first thing I am going to do within the next week. I do prob 85% on road and highway driving and like to do some off road driving. I think this tire should be good for that. I have a 4 cyl though and don't want to lose power going to the 265/75. I am leaning toward the p rated because the only thing I will be towing is a 14 ft aluminum boat that can't weigh more than 1200 pds. Do you guys think the p rated would be enough for me? Also has anyone ran these on a 4 cyl? Power/ mpg loss?
Next after the tires I am looking into getting better shocks from what I've read I'm leaning toward the 5100s set at stock height or if I can get trd offroad shocks for cheap I may use them. Also would like to get rid of the steel wheels and put stock trd 16s on. If anyone is selling the stock trd wheels let me know. Thanks.

just stay with p-metric do not buy LT tires, too heavy w/4cyl. you will fine. my son has p265/75/16 on his 4wd, ok for occasional off roading, not too good in mud though.

Everything you listed sounds good, keep an eye on the sale forums here, members are always selling stock trd wheels. You can also have luck on craigslist. White08gt is correct, p rated is fine.

Thanks I will keep checking for wheels. It's a tough decision on the tires because some say there's no loss and some say there is a loss of power. Wish I could try them out before I buy them lol.
