Did anybody else have trouble peeling the clear sticker off the truck that was located right in front of your rear tires on the fenders? I bought mine used and those stickers were still on there. I figred they were the same kind of stickers they put on vehicles during delivery. Anyways, it took me like an hour 1/2 on each side with an entire bottle of goo gone to get them off. Was wanderin if the original owner just forgot to take them off or if they serve some kind of "paint protection" purpose.

I believe they were meant to stay on the vehicle to prevent rock chips. These Tacomas have become notorious for the paint chipping very easily.

Wish i woulda known that sooner ! When i got my truck (white) those stickers were almost brown. I tried everything from car wash, to alcohol, to wax and nothing would clean them up

I didnt have any problems with that, but I did have problems with small parts of the stickers stayin on the truck. Kinda like when you try to tear off a price sticker of a cardboard box to fast lol
