So should I call and ask for Brian and say that Gramps sent me? Thank you for all of your help by the way.

TL ;DR but maybe the centering pin holes are drilled off. Someone could have easily 'slipped'

    Update:
I've borrowed a torque wrench and clicked the U Bolts to 75 lbs. I'm trying to get in touch with a contact at Groove Toyota to get the alignment done by a guy who knows what he's doing and should be able to help out. Thanks again everyone for your help! This place is a life saver!

Yup! Brought it to a fellow TW'er who works at a dealership and he got it taken care of with an alignment machine.

    Bumping the thread:

Was it as simple as tightening the U-Bolts, or did it take more convincing?

I'd be interested to know as well.

I was about to install my AAL's today. But I'm thinking about just taking to it my mechanic now.
Is it about an hour of labor or more? Just trying to estimate how much I should pay.

I went ahead and installed myself.
I'm not gonna lie it was a little bit of a PITA. Doing it a second time would be much easier.

    Things to consider:

Raise it high enough that you can get the axle low enough to get the new long center pin bolts in. Not so low you rip your soft brake lines though. I have a floor jack, but not the big ones. I have jack stands, but not the big ones. when lowering the axle the jack was all the way down and I didn't have enough room to get the center pins in. If I had these two things it would have saved me a lot of time. I had to get my bottle jack and use it to push the springs up so I could clear the top of the axle and get the center pin in. Also a deep 22mm socket for u-bolt nuts. Had to run to the store for that. All in all, it took me several hours and the whole time I wished I had just paid someone to do it. When it was done, I was proud and glad to say I did it myself and saved the money.

I will make my final front height adjustments and take it to the shop soon. Will post back if I have the alignment issue.

I only drove it a few miles and it feel like the AAL made the ride significantly stiffer and bumpier. I do like how it looks though.
