2009 DCLB Fuel Door Broke

    Hey guys,

    I've been seeing this appears to be an issue, just wondering what if anything, anyone did for repairs?

    The lower point of my fuel door that is riveted to the bed side seized and snapped. Now it is hanging on by only the top hinge.

    For those that bought a new door and had it painted - Did you drill out the rivets and use sheet metal screws to mount the new one?

    Remember when you get it fixed. It requires grease every now and again. I use white lithium on the hinge pins after every wash.
