Enjoyed some good old stuckness today. Swamp totally owned me though :p

Had gotten brush mower stuck, went in with Tacoma to save it, got mower out, then Taco got stuck. Going in was a huge mistake. Had to save the Taco with the CAT. Lucky I had a CAT. Otherwise truck would have been there...forever.

Worst part was, I had 60 feet of tow line but the closest I could get the CAT to the truck without risking getting the CAT stuck (I had nothing bigger to pull the CAT out with!) was 90 feet. So I had to rock the truck/jam lumps of swamp grass under tires to get it to move 30 feet closer. Fun times.

Looks like a blast! I wonder how a locked up rear end would have done?

I'm gonna say probably not much. Your equipment is only as good as your tires, and mine are a mild A/T that are pretty much worn out, so there was hardly any grip there.

Stupid question, couldn't you just boom-out and get the forks 30ft closer?

Does look fun though, I have seen a 3/4 ton Chevy get plucked out by a Cat 330 excavator... He picked up the rear end of the truck and rotated the cat and just whipped the thing out.

But u would of had two mild at with hardly any grip pulling instead of one, which by my calculations doubles it rear traction. ( a 50% overall traction increase)

nah.... you can just take it out and wash it off with a hose. the carpet is pretty resilient. I didn't even brush mine and all the coffee stains came out with just a hose

only takes about an hour to strip the interior down and get it out
