I was backing out of my garage and knocked my drivers side mirror off:rant:. so i ordered a replacement and had it painted. After I re-installed, made sure the housing was tight. i took it for a test drive and low and behold the mirror inside the housing viberates uncontrollably. Is there anyway to fix this?

If it's an aftermarket (offshore) replacement, that's usually as good as it gets. You could complain to the vendor, but it's a 90/10 whether you'll get a better replacement
