My wife drives a Jeep and she always gets a response from other Jeep drivers. When ever I do the two finger wave in my Tacoma I always get the "who the F&*% are you" stare.

Agreed, in my jeep I always wave to fellow jeepers and get good responses back. In the Taco when I used to wave to people (have since stopped), they just look at me like I'm retarded.
Even most of the sti owners will return a wave, guess most taco owners aren't enthusiasts.

yeah I used to wave or shoot a head nod but most tacoma guys, even who are lifted, dont acknowledge it or are not enthusiasts and just stare back, so I no longer wave...

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Black AC with slide in and pop up camper (nice) cruised by me as I exited the freeway; an older man and woman were looking and waved back at me. It was f'n awesome. (if you folks are watching this site; again, WOW and NICE!)

Since getting my Taco, I've started giving a wave to most of the other ones I see, 1st gen, 2nd gen, doesn't matter...haven't received an acknowledgement back yet.

I've looked to see if any other tacos in the area run a tw.com sticker, but haven't seen anything. Though if someone were to look at mine they wouldn't see one either (have searched, but can't figure out how to get my hands on one).

I usually throw the wave to any nicely modded truck/ jeep but mostly other pre runners. Ill get the response most of the time. especially from other pre-runners.

I usually wave at all Tacoma's. I try and talk with people that have modded ones, so I can get info about their trucks and maybe find out some local spots to hit. I've ran into a couple guys from here.

Hell no. Seems like Tacoma drivers around here are too cool to give a fuck about anyone else's truck. So I ignore them now too.
