Ok here's the story. My wife's 07 FJ Cruiser has over 105k miles now. It gets crap mileage and the transfer case has a slight leak. The repair is over $1600. The truck is otherwise in great shape. She has been thinking of trading it in because of the poor fuel economy and she isnt that fond of the FJ blind spots. I am not sure what package the FJ has but its 4x4. It does not have the triple gauge on the dash. It was the dealerships showroom showoff vehicle and came with TRD wheels. They are silver and not black. Are these Trail team wheels or are the black ones the trail teams?

The reason I am asking is that before we trade it in I would like to swap my Taco wheels for hers. I know hers are 7.5 wide while mine are 7" wide so will my Duratracs 265/75/16 tires fit her wheels and will the TRD wheels clear on my truck? Will swapping the wheels impact the trade in on her FJ?

That link doesnt really address the wheels. I am just wondering the if the increased wheel width of the TRD wheel has any impact on my 265/75/16s fitting.

Trail Teams are black. They are FJ Cruiser SE Anthracite rims. Tough to find.

I have 265/75 BFG ATs on my TRD Beadlocks (16x7.5, 2010 FJ TT wheels) and have zero issue outside of a slight rub on the mudflap under certain conditions (not a big deal).

Those are relatively rare FJ SE anthracite wheels. They will absolutely fit your tacoma, lots of guys run them.

Will it impact your trade, I have no idea but would change them regardless. Guys ask for $1000 for just the wheels

Didn't see the bottom part of post. I'm running the tires and wheels you are writing about. No rubbing, even before lift. Keep the wheels. Relatively hard to find originals is an understatement.

So doing some reading it seems while the FJ wheels will fit on my Taco, my Taco rims will not fit on an FJ because of the offset. :(

I've seen taco wheels on fj's around here. In fact, one of my coworkers has trd sport wheels on her fj.

I see that yours are the 16" wheels. Maybe that's the problem.

Yeah thats where the issue seems to be. The 17s are OK but the TRD OR 16s are reported to be a non fit. So I guess the FJ gets traded with anthracite wheels still attached.

Or maybe you could throw some wheel spacers on the FJ to fit your wheels and keep the FJ wheels. No way I would miss out on those badass wheels.

Spacers would run around $200, worth it to me to keep those special edition wheels.

Is it an all black special edition FJ? If so, it is worth significantly more than your typical 07 FJ.

I would definitely try and sell it myself if it is a SE.
