why is it that your stuff tends to fail as soon as the warranty is up? 36000 came and went with no problems but once i hit 39000 the clutch is done and i need a 2 new pullys on the front of the engine. What luck i have.

Killed your clutch at 39,000? Impressive! ;)

I've got 1 pulley down low on the engine that I need to replace. You're not alone with a lot of this stuff.

killing the clutch at 39k is pretty good.my friend would kill a clutch once a month,he is border line retarded. i dont think the new tacomas are built as well as the older ones.i sold my 02 with a 124K miles and everything was origanal.the only thing i didnt change was the 30K mile rated stock tires at 90K for the front and 115K for the rear. the egr valve at 110K

That's why his stuff doesn't break either. I honestly feel sorry for whoever got my G35 from the dealer or auction. LOL

Curious, how did you figure out that your clutch was going out? Mine has acted a bit funny lately; it seems like the pedal has to be almost all the way out for it to grab. Never used to be like that.
