i run that size in an mt e load rating with a 3 inch lift. 09 reg cab 4x4. i recently got 380 miles on a tank, almost all hwy. on the return trip i only got 340 miles on the tank due to headwinds coming back. in mixed city and hwy 50/50 i get about 320 miles per tank area on average

I'm running 265/75 r16 tires on SCS F-5 rims. I have duratracks in the C load range and I'm getting 22mpg after adjusting for the tire size increase. That wheel and tire set up weighs the same as the stock steelies and the 245 grandtreks. A little power loss over the passes (8000+ elevation) but if you drive it like a four banger is meant to be driven it will get up and go.

I had 2010 ac cab 2x4! I leveled and installed 235/75-15 TA KO's! My mileage went from 24 to 18! I only went up two tire sizes! It killed my truck! Power loss was horrible! Couldn't even use my cruise control. Anymore!

I went 2.5" up front on bilsteins and wheeler's leaf pack + 265/75/16. I would estimate that I lost a good 2-3 mpg but it took me a long time to realize how many little things influence my fuel economy. I drive the same routes every day for work (used to be 150mi/day) and wind on the way to or from work just one day would kill the mpg that whole tank.

But I don't recall the wind being so much of an issue before modifications.. guess that's more of a lift thing though, making a cinder block on wheels even less aerodynamic. I did run just tires for maybe 2-3 months before lift and I don't recall it being noticeably worse than stock.

If you live close to sea level and drive flat terrain you'll probably enjoy it a lot more than I have. 4cyl + 265/75/16 + lift, at high elevation = generally miserable.

I lost a tenth or so on mileage based on doing the diameter correction. No biggie.
LTX-MS2 non-LT load range. 40psi helps too, but ride is a little firm.
