    Tire chains work dang well if you're stuck. The old-fashioned method instead of just depending on modern electronic aids. Put the chains on, and you can turn off the nannies if you choose to do so.

    Even a POS ford will do good in the snow with the right tires.

    Its all about the tires not the truck.

    Exactly. Run studded tires if you can. It's amazing what studded tires can do. Here is my Jeep with studs. I know it's not a taco, but believe me a short wheel base wrangler absolutely sucks on snow without studs.
