So today i went to my local dealer to get my trans. oil changed and the guy there told me that i have the world series (WS) oil which is good for the life of the truck ..... i dont know if that is true or if anyone else has heard about that.. im have 106,600 miles on the truck.. i took it to a local tire shop to have a oil change back in feb. and he showed me the oil and it was black.. Is the guy at the dealership BSing me or is that true i dont need to change it...

Yes, absolutely, you need to change your transmission oil. Sooner if you are doing any towing.

when they said "lifetime" i think they meant that It will last until the transmission breaks(which would be the lifetime of it; English is weird that way)

I would have it changed along with the fluids in the differentials...to be on the safe side.

For 4wd after 50K miles, I changed oil in the Front and Rear Differentials, Transfer case and the Transmission.

    Not enough.
I thought these trannys ONLY took the world standard fluid. If that's the case why is he offering normal ATF?

Either way, never believe stealerships. All they know are selling point, vehicle features, and how to tie a tie.
