Well, thought I might as well make a thread for the build because so many want one but no idea how it is made. I have ordered the mesh and emblem and began cutting the grill up. Here is what I have so far.

Starting off with extra grill I plastidipped before buying a superwhite from camelback.

First job was to take the outer panel off, as I plan to swap and put the superwhite on the modified grill. Just had to take off the torx screws and clips.. I did break a few of the inner clips..it seems they wanted overkill as far as attachment goes..

Next I broke out my unused dremel 8400 i think it was and began cutting!.did the middle parts and then moved onto the sides. 4eha6u6y_3628d13da41c240aaa503098c6f5c0e0fef16c6d.jpg

So most of the cutting is done, just need to sand down some points and smooth out the sides alot and next part can begin. Someone used cardboard and tape to make their form for the fiberglass but not sure if there anything better to use as cardboard isn't perfect at creating bends. Any ideas?

A roll of Aluminum flashing is what I am going with. Cheap and easy to work with.

BTW off subject but... I'm from Moss Bluff by Lake Charles. Haven't been to Lafayette in about 5 years. Has it grown any?
