Thank God for this post. I cleaned the internals with electronic cleaner, cleaned the internals, and let them dry. I picked up some WD-40 White Lithium Grease in the aerosol can and used the straw to hit the bearings. So far so good, no noises anymore!

They did, or at least I thought they did. There is an updated version of the fan available. The part number is probably in this thread somewhere.

The updated one hasn't chirped at all since I put it in a couple years ago.

For my last stand with the old motor I am trying tri-flo on it. If it still squeaks I'm getting the updated OEM motor.

Looks like the price went down for the blower motors. I've been seeing oem motors with 43 part for around $57.

UPDATE!!! Let me add just a couple of thoughts to those who have tried this with little or no success. First- I cleaned mine with CRC.electrical cleaner NOT brake cleaner. Second- dielectric grease also on the commutator (area that the two spring loaded brushes rest). Third-the bearings/bushings have felt pads that have to be oiled. If you look at post #1's pictures, look close at the end cap showing the "inside" of the bearing/bushing. You will see a black thin plastic piece over the felt. It has 5 or 6 little slots that you can see the felt under. Turn both bearing/bushing assemblies over so the plastic slot tied pieces are on top. While they sit, cover them with lightweight electric motor oil (or equivalent). Keep doing this until it does not appear to soak in any longer. Then swab the excess with Q-tips. Last-before putting back together, put a few drops of oil on the thin washers on both ends of the shaft. I hope this will help those who want to try fixing theirs.

Just wondering how many people had the blower chirp start after having the dealership clean the A/C evaporator housing?

My thought is maybe that's what is causing the issue in the first place. The factory bushings are pre-oiled but squeak when dried out. I wonder if the chemicals in the foam cleaner has a drying effect on the bushings. They offer this service every time I go in now.

I removed the blower motor from my 2010 three times and tried to quiet it with spray lubricant with no success. Seven months ago I took it all apart and cleaned then greased the bushings. It stayed quiet for seven months but the squeak/chirp is BACK AGAIN. So I am going to take it apart AGAIN to clean and grease it.

Read my post #1194 above and make sure to oil the felt pads.

It's not the motor bearings that make the noise. The noise comes from the motor brushes.
I fixed this problem 2 years ago and the noise never came back.
The bottom part of the motor can be removed without having to remove the fan cage from the motor shaft. I cheaned the commutator contacts ( contact plates that the brushes rub against) with fine emery cloth. I also slightly honed the brushes. Care should be used when disassembling and reassembling the motor. Brushes assembly should be spread out to get it removed and reinstalled.
It's an easy procedure and should fix the problem.

The Tri-Flow has been the best lubricant so far for this problem.

Im going on 16 months now and zero squeaks.

Question to those with the -043 oem fan . Is it safe to assume that this fixed the problem? Getting ready to replace mine and was wondering if I should go with this fan .

Picked up my new 043 from the stealership 2 weeks ago ,,,,$123.00 bucks plus tax .
parts guy said the motor has been updated 3 times to get it working properly .
They had boxes and boxes of the new motor on the shelf .
Parts guy said this has been a real cash cow for their stealership.

So is this a gauranteed fix, buying this part? I'm blown away that this is still an unsolved issue with toyota. They seem so solid with everything.
