Looking at getting some Level 8 guardians 16x8.5 -6 offset which translates to 4.5" backspacing, i'm currently running the stock 16" OR rims with 1.25" spidertrax spacers and 285's with absolutely no issues. if i were to get the guardians could i take my spacers off and still have enough room for 285's?

I am running some 16X8 -0 offset with a back spacing 4.45. I have 275's and i have plenty of room from the UCA's to fit 285's. But i rub on my mud flap on the passenger side in reverse @ 3/4 turn. I think i would have to do a modest amount of cutting to handle 285's. I have a 3" toyotec lift.

I'm running 255/85/16s on 16x7 4.5" BS with no rub no trim.
4.5" is ideal for 285s any more and it increases rub. You'll still need to trim some anyway.

ah i gotcha, yeah I've got an ARB and about 3.25" of lift and never had to trim, so i think i should be good, thanks man!
