If you've got $1200 bucks just order the full OME kit. Plenty of lift, all new springs and shocks. It'll be like your truck is reborn!

Or I can go with this:

    http://skyjacker.com/product.php?ProdID=29902

I`ve heard really good things about this lift, from both Dark Knight and someone here locally.....

    Here`s a pic of Dark Knight`s setup...

    newlift1_zps87f9559d_936fb3be7c29d5dae9a14a4d86d629db83ed6f33.jpg

Was hoping to just go with the AAL, but this isn`t too much more money.... and will give me a good solid lift. :)

Skyjacker was already a crappy lift like 10 years ago!

I've been looking around, and OME or Toytec will cost me nearly double with Shipping. Also, I'm already running Skyjacker rear shocks on my 98 4Runner, been doing so for nearly 5 years now... and love them.

I find, in many forums, people tend to take the "popular" lifts, because other's used them with success. The problem with this, is nobody tries anything different.

I've lurked around here for a while, signed up much later, and can say that most guys around here, either run OME, Icon, Kings, or Toytec Ultimate Lifts. All are great options, but sometimes, there are other good alternatives out there, that nobody tries.

Dark Knight has been using the above setup for quite a while now, and swears by it's durability and ride comfort. He's now running full steel bumpers front and rear, but added some Coilovers to support that weight.

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-builds/21474-dark-knight-build-2.html

I've seen OME shocks fail, and have also used OME coils on my 98 4Runner. Can't say I was impressed by them. I swapped my OME's for some used Landcruiser coils and couple that with some Skyjacker shocks... and the ride is NICE! :)

I'm not saying Skyjacker is a better product.... but I'm more than certain it will be more than adequate for my needs. :) I'm not adding steel bumpers... hell... I'll be lucky if I even take this thing wheeling! lol!

Bought my OME kit on Amazon and didn't pay any shipping. Actually paid under $1000.

Most likely not... shipping to Canada is almost always an A$$ Raping! I've spent more on shipping, than the actual item! It's ridonkulous! LOL!

I've got a Retailer here in town, that will sell me the Skyjacker kit, for the price on the Skyjacker site... free shipping! :)

I think you're going to need a more convincing sales pitch OZ. I don't think he's biting! :D
