Only a 2" lift??? Don't we need 2.5" to 3" of lift to fit 285's??

 

It gives more than 2" of lift. I don't know why they understate it. You'll get at least 2.5" to 3" of lift on your old, saggy suspension.

I got 2 1/2" of lift on my DCLB 4x4 with that exact set up

 

He will likely get much more than that. He's at 20.5" in the back right now, the Dakars should take him to 24.5". In the front he'll get at least 3" as well since he's at 20" even.

 

OME setup is more durable in the front, and the Dakars will take more weight and abuse than an AAL.

Huh? Your average rear for a DC is like 24.5" with the Dakars right? He said his rear is at 20.5 right now....that's 4". Right?

 

I was at 20" front stock and am at 22 1/2" now , 2 1/2" of lift

 

Might've overstated the front a little, my bad. I got up to 23" but I also added the 1/4" spacers. He's going to get a lot in the rear though.

 

His ballpark would be 22.5 front and 24 rear. 1/4" spacers would set him up with a little rake, prolly 23 and 24 like yours.
