    Perfect! Thanks!

Just did it on my 2011.5 (New Gauge Cluster). Didn't remove the headunit, just the climate controls. Took 10 minutes, and most of that was fiddling with the plug to get it plugged back into the TPMS module.

Just an FYI: My light kept coming on anytime the temp dropped below 40° F and it was driving me nuts. I had the dealer adjust the threshold for the sensor and haven't had it on since, except for when I air down purposefully.

I have two sets of wheels. My stock 17" wheels have A/Ts for summer/spring/fall and I have a set of 16" alloys off a TRD Off Road that have snows for winter. The winter set has no sensors, so the light drives me nuts.

Subd. Ordered my aux cord kit gonna cut this damn plug when I pull it apart. I hate when vehicles tell me what to do. I know when to shift and. I look at my tires.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.

Some people has a second set of tires, like winter treads, etc. Personally I have a second set from a young guy who bought a new truck and went straight to a tire shop and replaced the originals with a new set.

Excellent job, OP! I have 2 sets of wheels with no sensors. I can ignore the light, but understand how it would drive others crazy. I have 1 set with sensors with 33s. I run those at 40psi and can air down to 20 without the light coming on, but if one tire has the pressure dropped the light comes on. I find the system just useful enough to keep it intact - the switch is a damn fine idea IMO.:cheers:

Just did this to my 2014. Worked like a charm! The only difference is that my tpms box was brown not blue, but its in the same location and labeled as "tire pressure monitor".

Thanks a million OP! The dealer here wanted $98 + tax to resync. I only wish I'd found this thread sooner, I wouldn't have bought a set of sensors for my new rims! Luckily I found a used set on ebay for only about $59, so I'm not out too much.

Thanks again for posting this up!

Just did on my '07 yesterday. Only 2 issues really, accessing the plug since I could barely fit my hand to where the TPMS CPU is located and the other issue was the splicer I used didn't really make contact with the thin cables so initially I thought it did not work on a '07 but after removing the splicer and noting the cables were not pierced I decided to solder a fuse holder to the red/white and the other end to the blue with a 1 amp (just in case!) and yep, light is off. Decided to do this since the tire shop that installed my new 285/75 damaged one of the sensors (but they do not acknowledge it) and my dealer wanted $85 for the sensor + $75 to program the new sensor but the funny part is that the dealer says that the spare tire sensor has failed also.
