Picked up a 09 access cab a few weeks ago, both 12v outlets don't work.

Previous owner says they have not worked for a while he checked the fuse, that wasn't it and then never bothered with it again.

Also sometimes the lights on the shifter do not work. And the lights behind the left ac control knob do not work at all.

Anyone have this problem or know of a fix/culprit?

    Thanks,
    Alex

    Sounds like a bad ground.

Also, re-check the fuses, there are 2 fuse panels, one under the hood and one in the cab.

i have the same issue with the lights on shifter and ac knobs. 12v works fine. I always thought it was a bad bulb or connection. Haven't had time to look into it.

The shifter lights work but only after I shift from drive into 4, them they stay on after that... Confusing...

From what I understand, there is also an inline fuse for the power point (right side) behind that dash panel, but it shouldn't affect the cig lighter as well.
