    I really like the look and design of the Bud built traction bar and was wondering if anyone here is running one? How do you like it? PITA install? Please share!

    Its $465 bucks? Big waste of money unless your truck is absolutely ripping the road up with power.

    Isn't that the POS that mounts to the axle using the 3rd member bolts?

    I'd stay far away if it is. Look for something that has a weld on mount, or make your own.

    MJP has one. I believe he welded a drive shaft skid plate onto it also. If it wasn't so expensive, I'd have one to help eliminate axle wrap.

    How is it a POS?? It looks like a good design and doesn't hang down to snag. Also helps with axel wrap especially if you have blocks in the rear for lift...

    even with a "proper" leaf pack it will still have axel wrap. Guys with the Dakar leaf packs, which are excellent have axel wrap. There are vids showing it on youtube and it is pretty bad

    Truth. Nothing I could do would rid the axle wrap, I planned on a trac bar but am going with ruff tuff for it.
