6 Speed - Squeaking under truck when letting clutch out

Recently my 09 V6 DCSB 6 speed has started making a squeaking noise under the truck when i let the clutch pedal out. Is there something that needs to be lubricated under there somewhere??

 

not really, if I remember right, the slave rod and fork are covered anyway. something could have gotten in there and made it a little creaky.

I wouldn't worry about it too much unless you feel binding when you push the pedal

 

surprised no one else has had this issue...

 

I have had that issue on my 2010 5 speed, turned out to be the throwout bearing/ and needed new bushings in the clutch pedal. your not the only on plenty of people have had this problem.

 

I too have this problem in my 2005, but it is very intermittent. I wouldn't worry too much about it if the pedal is smooth and no binding is felt.

 

tsb for the throw out bearing just had mine done they replaced a bunch of stuff under warranty get it done!

I am not talking ab the throw out bearing...its a squeak like a spring that needs to be lubed

 

the clutch pedal i believe had a tsb as well for squeeking that could be your problem but if its under the truck then idk just have to inspect

 

I fixed the clutch squeak with some WD-40 on the inside and then I noticed the squeaking under the truck too. It's pretty quiet though.

 

mine can be pretty loud if i let the clutch out quick (going into neutral) and i can hear it with the windows down. Seems to come and go though for now...hoping it doesn't get worse...But it makes me wonder if eventually something is going to fail because I assume the squeak is from something not being lubricated.

 

How about this...crawl up under your truck, have a buddy continually depress the clutch pedal...find the squeak yourself. Problem solved.

 

I had the same issue and it drove me nuts! Found another thread on here that mentioned turning the push rod behind your clutch peddle with your fingers about 1/4 turn (mine was counterclockwise) and it stops the noise.
