So today my air stopped working completely. The compressor is fine because I can hear it turn on, but NOTHING will blow out of my vents. Heat won't either. I tried turning the A/C off and putting it on re-circulate, but still nothing. It seems like a switch or something, but idk. Anyone have any ideas?

On my friends 08 she had a similar problem. It was intermittent, turned out to be the switch to the blower motor.

Like these other guys said, check the fuse first.

If the fuse is good, then check voltage at the switch. Check on the hot side of the switch, then check on the load side of the switch(blower side) with the switch on. If you have power on the hot side but not the load side, then it's the switch.

If you have power on the load side then check power at the blower motor. If you have power to the blower, then it's either the blower itself or a loose ground.

    So,
    1) Check fuse
    2) Check power at switch, line and load side (power and blower side)
    3) Check power at blower motor

*There are relays involved, but for now just check these things.

Wow, I went to check the fuse, and when I cranked my truck, the air was working. . . Strange! Something isn't right. . .

Yea it's the resistor pack or the brushes on the blower motor.

Mine has been like that for a while (over a year)... When it happens just reach under the glove box and give it a good smack, it will start blowing again. I know it sounds funny but it works. I have to do it maybe once a month or so.

If when it works it works on all speeds it probably is the blower motor. I have to give the one in my old BMW a smack about once a year. If certain speeds stop working it's more likely the resistor than the switch. The resistor in my old 89 plow truck has been dead for years. Only works on high.

Mine does it too, its the resistor on mine it goes back on when I touch the connector. There is a thread on it here somewhere.

Yeah it worked on all speeds just a minute ago. Guess I'll be laying the smack down on it next time. lol

I had something similar happen to me for the first time a couple of days ago. I was waiting for the wife who was shopping the other day and it was about 95deg outside so I let the truck idle with the a/c on. With the blower motor at about half it was fine inside the truck. Then, about ten minutes later (I didn't know she was going to be inside for that long because I hate to idle) it started to get warm and kept getting warmer. The a/c didn't seem to get colder for several minutes and I even tried cycling it off and back on to no avail. Once we were moving several minutes later I kicked it back on and it seemed to blow out cold air again. I think it's alright but am within warranty and don't want to not have it checked out if this isn't normal but I also don't want to waste a trip to the dealership if this isn't normal. I had a feeling it was something to limit it to prevent ice formation but it seemed to last longer than I had expected. Next time I'll try to hammer the dash under the glove box and will likely schedule to take it in to have it looked at under warranty.

Well, I've had to smack it the past two days after work. After I hit it, it turns on, but is very weak at first. Then, it gets up to normal blowing speed.

We should begin calling hitting things to make it work as percussive maintenance

I always called it a 'factory adjustment' and this was when I was a level 3 Nokia repair tech in the late 90's. :D

It sounds like the blower motor speed selector resistor or the fan motor itself. When was the last time you changed your cabin air filter? If the selector resistor doesn't get enough air over it to cool it then it will prematurely fail.

About a month ago. I've changed it every oil change. The different speeds work fine when its working. I'm thinking the fan motor is going bad

Whoa whoa there Chris Brown lets not publicly admit that.

Also if the blower squeaks any recommendations besides tsb?
