I had the 16x8 pro comp 7069 wheels. These wheels fit perfectly on the rear of the second gen tacomas no problem. You have to run at least a 1/4" spacer on the front to clear the calipers. I just sold my set and went to the 16" FJ trail team wheels in black. The procomp 7069 wheels look great but i did not like running the 1/4" spacer on the front. Also you have to run spline drive lug which i dont like either. The toyota OEM lugs are significantly more beefy. I have not heard of any recall but i had no problems with mine.

RickRock- With your 17x9" wheel and 6mm offset, what does that make the back space?

I only heard about a recall through the above post. did you need spacers to clear the calipers? I was thinking of putting these on my 2015. do you mind posting the specs for the rims and maybe a couple of front and rear shots to see the off set. thanks

I did nit need spacers and would need to take fotos and figure out how to post them. Can you post pics direct from fotos or do you need to go thru a foto host?

I just called Pro Comp and while the guy was an A$$ on the phone he said the wheels are and were never recalled.

That's good new for the rims. suck about their customer service though. I may go ahead and order a set then. I'm going to be running 265/70/17 fun country tires with the rims. are your rims a -6mm offset?

Ive hit them on rocks pretty hard and can't say enough about my Hankooks and wheels were good also. Its raining so no pics now

    • Backspace = 4.75
    • Max Load =2500lbs
    • Finish = Flat Black with Machined Accents
    • Hub Centric = No
    • Offset = -6mm

you do have your truck lifted right? I have the Camburg uppers with 2.5 C/O and had to trim some of the rear wheel well as well as my ARB Bumper. I have a CBI bumper now with no issues.

I have 4 5100 bilstien and a 2"aal in the rear. none of it installed yet. I've read on the forum that guys run 265/70/17 with stock suspension with no rubbing.

I know this is a bit old!, but I just ordered those same wheels for my 14 sport and was wondering if you cleared everything good (besides what you said you removed)? right now I have 1.25 spacers, but thinking of removing them before installing the wheels based of those side shots! I like the stance! or do you have any spacers with the wheels? thanks man!
