No more taco life for me
that low of a price would make me worry about issues.

buy it if you know its solid.

    flip it if your unsure.

I drove my last Taco to 209,000 miles and wouldn't have hesitated to drive it cross country then. Of course I knew it had been taken care of too. If it's in good shape and nothing wrong with it I'd jump on that. Hell even if theres a minor issue it would be worth that.

sounds like a good deal, but it's usually not a good idea to buy cars from family members.

ya he seems like a good guy, he got a promotion so he went and bought a new duramx so the tacoma is just sitting there rotting away i drove it and looked everything over (im not a mechanic by any sense of the word) but it seemed really clean, would you guys be too worried about the slight oxidation? its black and slightly faded i have no experience buffing so i dont know how well a buff brings back a shine.

Wouldn't be too worried about the paint. Just make sure it runs fine and the 4x4 works.

def a good deal unless it is salvaged. imo, 100K miles is not bad at all, you can expect a few minor issues going out from time to time, but def still very reliable
