    Im looking at getting a 4 banger access cab 4x4. Mainly for the better mpgs. But after lift, tires, and trail armor does it really matter? Will all the added weight make the mpgs the same as a v6?

    Price is the advantage the 2.7L has over the 4.0L...not MPG.

    Keep your 05 it is paid for and you only have to fill it up and do maintenance not payments
