White, debadged, Mudflaps removed, ICON 2.5 in front, 2.0 in rear, all 4 corners have reservoirs, Spidertrax wheel spacers all around, BAMF bolt on sliders, Avid lightbar, oem transmission cooler converted to power steering cooler, aftermarket transmission cooler eliminating all oem transmission cooler stuff, remote mounted spin on transmission fluid filter TrueTrac rear differential, rear diff housing vented and filtered into left side bed box, URD MAF calibrator, Volant intake scoop into oem airbox, second filter removed, airbox internals smoothed, blended and polished throttle body, NST intake manifold spacer, Wet Okolee set covers, WeatherTech Digital Fit mats, inexpensive JVC single DIN, Scangage, AVS Stepshield door sill protectors, Doug Thorley Long Tube Headers, URD Y pipe with O2 sims.
Wouldn't it be easier and legal to just drive with the lights on but headlights off. The first click setting for headlights.

yes ^^ thats what im actually trying to figure out with this mod.... i dont have DTRL i use the first "click" and the front corner ambers come on and the red rear lights light too. in conjunction with those i want to mock up a way to have the rear ambers light up as shown above. im sure its as simple as a spliced wire to the brake light ... but which is my question, curiosity.

I guess you could tap into the DTRL signal wire that I (and others) have tapped into and added a switch to on/off toggle the front DTRL's...

I guess you could splice that same wire into the wiring that goes to the rear blinkers.

using the DTRL module activate in the front and rear while maintaining the blinker/hazard functions.

I would check with state laws before you go modifying lights. Especially in California, where they are REALLY strict on lights. Just play it safe. I know in some states "running" lights can only be amber in the front, and red in the rear. Could possibly get you a ticket. Just suggesting that you look into the laws before you do it. Daytime might not be that big of a deal, but you for sure wouldn't want them to be on at night. It could be confusing to some people.

Yep ... it is illegal to have amber run lights in the rear. Amber is for turn only. That sucks bc I like how it looks... :( oh well on to my other mods ... bhlm, satoshi, Urd intake blah blah

Glad you checked. From your icon under your name I would assume you are a police officer?
