I like them to poke out man. Why go down to 16's? 17s and up not look proportional?

I like more tire and sidewall.

Its all personal preference.. larger rims on our trucks just don't look all that good imo. You can always run wheel spacers too if you want your tires to stick our further.

You think 18s would be a happy medium with 33s?

Why don't you pick what you like and buy that?

If you do a search, you will find all of your questions have been covered a hundred times over...

or be super cool and go 15's :D
    ...oh that's right, you can't!

that's was unnecessary and rude, I apologize

I'd say that 16" is perfect for every setup but I'm with moose here I think with a light truck the more meat the better. just looks mean. especially with 33" tires.

and unfortunately I have to second that motion; try the search bar and 2nd gen info section and you'll probably find what you need.

    Nice avatar btw..

Exactly. The more sidewall.. the better imo. Again. Its all personal preference. If you want big wide rims OP.. do it! Your truck.

I run a 18 x 10 w 33's but have a 5" lift. You can run it with a 3 or 4" lift but probably have to do a lil trimming and take off front mud flaps. I also prefer the super white in the dc and IMO the 17's or 18's look the best on the tacomas. I have seen some people running 20's which look good too but 16's just look too small.

Color? Personal preference, I have yet to see a color on a Tacoma I didn't like... well... maybe Sand Mica.

As for bed length, that's easy: are you going to be carrying alot of shit or big shit (motorcycle)? Long bed. Otherwise, the shortbed is going to be easier to drive.

Colors hmm. Black is my personal favorite, but its hard to keep clean an looks like shit most of the time. Plus I dont like the current black. I prefered the black sand pearl better.(my last tacoma was bsp) white is just that white nothing special there. Doesnt show dirt water spots an scratches as bad as black though. Now magnetic grey however doesnt show dirt an water spots that bad and looks really good in the sun. Has some sparkle to it. I went with it on my last two trucks an really like it. As for long bed or short bed? The ling bed is gonna be a little harder to maneuver because of the longer wheelbase. If you need a 6 foot bed then go for it. Otherwise get the short bed and a bed extender an enjoy.

MGM DCSB. TRD Sport. I do wonder if I should of gotten the long bed sometimes for the extra space but I don't really need it and I think the short beds look a little better. Just my opinion though. I will note my old tacoma was white and showed far less scratches than I am already noticing on my new truck! That doesn't make me real happy but oh well.

I have the crew cab long bed, it's a 09 trd sport..I have a pic of it as my icon but ill try and post a pic later so you can see it better. Overall I love the truck but you'll have to take a bit wider turns cause it's long. But if you're used to driving trucks and suv's shouldn't be a problem
