i have a 2010 double cab sport, when i try to refuel the gas will not go in it backs up to the nozzle and kicks off. i know there is a mechanical problem, its not the pump and it is not the way i refuel. if anyone has personal information due to the fact they had this problem please help me out. please dont suggest any ideas about filling it slowly. one guy even asked if i was using the diesel pump lol

I've had sporadic issues myself where as soon as I pull the handle on the pump it clicks off. Something I've done recently to help is to put the nozzle in the opening and let it sit for about 5-10 seconds to let and fuel vapor dissapate. Lately I've had no issues.

I sometimes have to pull the nozzle out a little to get it to fuel at full speed.

x2. Also, there is a metal screen in line, if you've pissed someone off recently, they could have messed with your truck and put something down there that doesn't belong.
