Hey guys, just purchased my second tacoma.. A new, white TRD doublecab 2013 w/ sport package. Absolutely love it so far, the backup cam in the review mirror and bluetooth stereo are amazing.. a nice step up from my previous 05 taco

    Anyway,

I know I am going to go with a small leveling kit that should give it around 2" lift in the back, and 4" in the front.

    Here is my dilemma....

I want to throw on some 18"s and more aggressive tires for that perfect tacoma look,

    BUT

White handles, white bumper... chrome logos. I am NOT sure if black rims will go well with this. Ive been looking at some chrome, black, bronze, and some gunmetal....but I am pretty LOST on what will look best. Im not lookin for an 18 yr old kid look, but I want something that looks expensive, and still has almost a factory look to it... kinda like an aftermarket wheel that you may see on a tacoma on the toyota dealership floor (but not the 16" baja rims, I want 18" wheels).

If anyone has good suggestions or post some pics of wheels that they like on the new doublecab sports id really appreciate it

    Thanks for the help

Not a fan of 18" wheels. Those remind me of the '18 year old kid look'.

Your truck, go for what you like.

18 inch black wheels will def give it the 18 year old look. How about the 17 inch 4runner trail editions?

I have bronze 16's on 265 75 16's and think they look pretty good. They came with the truck when I purchased it

I could stick with the 17"s, and the bronze would be a good look... sure wish they made the Baja bronze in a 17

A little chrome looks good but that is extreme overkill of chrome

If it were me.... I'd go with something in Gunmetal. You can even remove your emblems, plastidip them, and then paint them Gunmetal too???

I've done both my front and rear Ebay TRD Emblems in Gunmetal, and like what they look like. Just not sure if I want to do the "Tacoma" emblems that way too??!! lol!

That being said... I think gunmetal looks good on most vehicles, especially the white Tacoma. I find too many dude's are out there rockin Black wheels.... why not be a little different?

As for size.... I don't see anything wrong with 18" wheels.... just don't go any bigger.... that'll look a little too "18yr old-ish". :)

I'm actually thinking about getting some this weekend. I was leaning towards the black 18" monster XD. Could you post some pics? Because I still really like to consider those bronze trd
