I am interested in getting CAMBURG long travel for my truck. I have CAMBURG spindles on it now. I'm a broke ass college student so I want to piece everything together. I was thinking about buying the CAMBURG 1in uniball upper control arms but I am not sure if they are the same ones that are sold with the LT kit. I don't want to spend twice as much money.

As said earlier... unfortunately, the Camburg uniball UCAs are a couple inches shorter than the L/T UCAs. I get this question a lot, because I know everyone is on a budget and try to piece kits together. Usually I would recommend to either wait until you can purchase the L/T kit, or go for a "mid-travel" kit and then when the time comes, sell it and go for the L/T.

If you have the 4" lift spindle now, and you are still running the stock UCAs, you could run into some problems down the road. Anytime you lift a truck, the stock arms end up becoming a limiting factor with your suspension. With our uniball UCA you are not only replacing the weak factory b/j with a bigger 1.25" uniball but you will also gain more wheel travel. Like anything, modifications and upgrades all depend on how you are using your truck and how much you are wanting to spend.

If money is an issue, you can always go for the ball joint UCAs, they are half the price and will correct the geometry of the arm but utilize your stock ball joint. This is an option if your ball joints are still in good condition. If not, it will be a pain to try and find replacement ball joints that are consistently made.

Lemme know if you have any other questions about our products and I will surely help ya out :)

i doubt his uca's are a limiting factor...unless hes running ext travel shocks.
