I'm a new member to this board but I did own a GMC Sonoma pick up for 12 years. During that time I invested a lot of money in upgrades and I would like to share my experience. 1. CAT back Magnaflow exhaust. This mod gave my truck a nice throaty sound but no improvement in gas mileage or performance. 2. Cold air Intake. I did this upgrade in conjuction with the exhaust. Once again it made a cool noise at full throttle but no improvement in mpg or performance. 3. After market aluminum wheels. They looked great and the truck seemed to ride better. 4. Replaced the bushings on the front stabilizer bar and connecting links with polyurethane bushings along with 2" lowering blocks on the rear axle. This was the only modification that made a difference. The truck was much more stable in the turns and it just rode better. Hopefully my experience with some of these high dollar improvements will save some you some money. The only mod I'm considering for my new Taco is some after market wheels. The OEM steel wheels are just plain ugly. AL W

Welcome to TW. Aftermarket exhaust and CAI are also pointless on this truck.

    You'll understand when you're older.

Things get expensive when you move out from your parent's house.

Lets get this back on topic  I added some new tires to my motorcycle a few days ago, got to test them out tonight, added hp due to the fact that I didn't spin thru 1st & half way thru 2nd. I strongly suggest anyone with bald tires to get new ones, the sop was off the charts.

Ha ! I wish !! It WAS the new world record caught at Lake Dixon,Ca. (about 40 miles from me) but the IFGA disqualified it for a couple reasons, it was foul hooked (not intentional as witnessed by Lake officials) & was weighed on non certified scales at time of being caught, she was just over 25lbs..holy shit ..:eek:

Oh man, you're not kidding, I worked at the Holiday Inn in Mission Valley here in San Diego & one of my main duties was servicing the pool area/pumps/filters/chemicals & yeah def saw a lot of skin thwere , even got to touch a few ladies hooking up with the pool boy HA! it was interesting to say the least..
