Front end noise??

Ok just these past couple of days I have heard a weird squeaking/creaking noise coming from my front end, yesterday it started and seemed to be coming from the drivers side front wheel/brakes, but this morning it seems to be coming from the front end of my truck. It almost sounds like a fan is hitting something or a belt is whining. Mind you I am only hearing this briefly when I take off from a dead stop. Was thinking yesterday that something might be stuck between my rotors and the metal shield behind it but then again this noise is only when I start from a dead stop and it changed slightly this morning.

Could I need to repalce some belts, sorry this is pretty vague but figured I'd ask.

 

"some belts" Have you opened the hood. Mine only has one.

Could be the belt slipping a little. Could be a leaf or other material in or on your breaks, take the pads out and check em.

 

Apologies was typing this up pretty fast at work should have specified and said serpentine belt, I havent had a chance to look into this, I will this weekend, just figured I get some ideas what to look at/for.

 

No worries I meant it as humor. i guess I could put some emotion into it.

 

Either way my post is a way too general, I am on vacation in a couple weeks and will have my family mechanic look at it then, I am living in the city now and don't have the time or place to be tearing my truck apart myself, my truck is still under exteneded warranty so if it is anything serious, which I doubt it is, it should be covered.
