Hey guys, I have a black 2005 Tacoma AC 4x4. Throwing a few mods on it this week...

    Dee-Zee Black Bull Bar
    17" Ballistic Jester Wheels
    Plasti-dipping emblems
    Window Tint

And here is where I could use some help...getting a new muffler too. Looking at dozens of YouTube clips has gotten me to mainly consider the Flowmaster 40 or 50 series.

I was hoping anyone with experience with these mufflers could chime in, and give their opinions. I'm going for a bit of a deeper/slightly louder tone than stock, I hate any ricey sound. Thanks!

I find the flowmaster too raspy on our trucks. If you must stick to flowmaster, Id recommend the deltaflow 50.

    I'm leaning towards the 50.

I looked at every other flowmaster, magnaflow, aero turbine, wicked flow, etc etc and just never found one that wasn't insanely raspy/weird sounding at average acceleration IMO.

I don't expect the sound of a V8 of course, just something a little deeper.

I have one with the 13" casing on my truck right now. I love it...not ricey at all, at least to my ears. I'd put on another one in a heartbeat.

To each, their own, though. Good luck in your search!

I went with this one. I like it! Makes some noise when you want it but is not at all obnoxious.

I like my TRD Catback. It sounds good. I've heard good things about Banks though

The TRDs do sound real nice,

Do we know who makes that muffler?
Toyota in house or by someone else,

    Also do you have a 4cyl, or 6cyl... I am assuming a 6.
