    Hello All,

New Taco owner here. Just got a new '09 and need to get it rigged like my previous '93 full-size truck with a a bed lid on it.

I am leaning toward the Undercover. The one thing I just noticed in the install guide, is that it says to remove the multi-track cleats. So I was wondering if they actually have to come off or can I leave them mounted and just not expect to use them with the lid on? I would like to leave them in the rail so I can remove the lid and not have to keep track of the cleats.

    Ideas?

Great forum with loads of info!

    TIA

The large ones do not work to well, they come in contact with the cover. I have found the ones in the back (by cab) will work but you need to check placement..
I ended up using the smaller ones (cleats). They seem to work the best for my needs.

Cool. I did not know they make smaller ones. Do you know if dealerships are willing to trade the larger ones for smaller ones?

    Thanks again
