Got the new ones installed. The rubber and glue (i.e., plastered cement) did not want to budge much. I removed what I could without tearing up the clearcoat and paint, using Goo Gone. Regardless, it's over...whew!

    Hey Whiplash,

Since I've seen you've had your doors disassembled and reassembled, I'll ask you.

I dropped 2 of the rear door garnish molding clips (little white ones) inside the door because I didn't pull them out of the holes and place them on the molding before reinstalling it. I removed the door panel and found them, but noticed there were small & thin fabric/cloth washers on most of the holes the panel clips (around the sides and bottom of the door) pop into. I couldn't find one for every hole, but reinstalled the ones I could find.

Do you think I'll have any vibration issues (or any other issues) without ALL of them in place?

Not at all. As long as you have all the clips back in, it will be as quiet as anyone should expect a Toyota to be.
I'm totally guessing, but I believe the little foam washers are there to keep the clips from rubbing the paint off during initial assembly. They have zero influence on whether the door panel will rattle or not. It's a 50/50 whether a manufacturer even employs such an item, I've noticed over the years

Copy all that. They're paper-thin, so I don't see how they could provide much of a buffer. Didn't even think about that being a tactic they use to prevent paint rub...

Well, I broke down and took her to a body shop right down the road. They got her looking like new! They matched the magnetic gray perfectly. I'm done screwing around with her...maybe.
