I have not been to a dealership in another state but every TRD in CA that i've seen has a tow package.

I went through the same dilemma, I chose the off road. It just suited my needs better.

I did the same thing when I first purchased my OR. Cheaper vs the options. I went for the options as I'm gonna pay for it anyway, might as well get what I want. Beside, I think the SR5 had a beige interior which I didn't like for the 2nd gen.

Ok guys, I'm in another dilemma now and need your help.
I just found a really good deal on a 2005 4runner with less than 50k miles. Its been a 1 owner car. The inside was pretty dirty as the lady used to haul her kids around in it, but never towed anything with it. The only issue is the V8.
Now, I won't be doing ANY towing at all, and maybe take it off-road 'once'. From what I've read online, people say the V8 is a better choice if money isn't the issue. In this case, I'm getting this vehicle much cheaper than what I would pay even for a V6 (I know the lady).
    Any suggestions?

P.S I tried ALOT but could not find a decent taco that would suit me.

Those are nice but like you said, only if gas mileage isn't an issue for you.
