can someone recommend me a rear suspension for my work truck?? I have a 05 doublecab prerunner longbed. 2wd. I don't use it for wheeling or offroading. just hauling material and debris. also has a full size ladder rack. I see a lot of suspension for articulation, but I cant have soft suspension for carrying a heavy load when needed. what are my options?? thanks!!

Do you want an actual full lift, or just better springs that can handle more weight in the bed on a daily basis?

If lift, how much are you looking for?

Your question got me thinking, since this my work truck I should keep it stock height. It just looks some much better with a lift. But, yes I do want better rear suspension. thanks!!

Being a work truck, what are you willing to spend?

New leaf pack is a good idea if you always carry the same weight...

I think the best option would be airbags for the rear and 5100's all around. The 5100's can level the front and accomidate a little lift in the rear. Good on road ride and you can adjust the airbags as necessary to tolerate the weight in the rear. When unloaded, let the air out and enjoy a smoothe ride...if you can do it yourself, you're looking at under $600 for everything. Half that if you don't want the new shocks (which I would personally recommend on a 2005 work truck...)

I don't mind spending the bucks. Probably could use new shocks, as I have 115k at the moment.

Thanks for the airbag suggestion, but I don't like having to deal with it when needed. I'm leaning more towards leafs, but everything I see has a lift to them. I will be installing them myself. Its fairly simple.

Anybody experience with supersprings?? My uncle has them on his 07 tundra and he likes them. Couldn't find much info on them here.
