ok so i'm getting ready to go into production with a very similar design to the rear bumper thats on my truck right now. but i am curious what is everybody looking for that they cant seem to find? for the time being i will only be fabricating things in plate but i will soon add tube as well. my ideas as of right now for the tacoma are rear bumpers, shock mount skids, possibly bed bar, possibly sliders, front hidden reciever. any ideas are appreciated. :D

How about filler plates for under the taillights? When you remove the stock bumper, there is a huge space under the taillights, which looks hella ugly if you wanna use pre-runner style rear-bumpers. I would love to have some bolt in filler panels that i can paint match to my truck, so there is no gap when i install my new bumper.

a bolt on replacement bumper is planned, however it will take a little while longer being as though i cannot mock it up off my truck anymore. as far as the tire carrier, are you referring to a regular tire carrier that holds it vertical behind the tailgate?

I say do that rear bumper, I personally like the style, and finding one like that is hard.
If you were to start fabbing them as an bolt on affair, I am good to go in purchasing one.
Already has the wife's thumbs up.

as for the tire carrier, that is no problem. my only issue right now is that my truck no longer has the lower section of the bedsides obviously, so i will have to have a guinea pig before i can fab up a direct replacement bumper. as for the hitch, i want to make a version that will allow you to keep the factory tow hitch as well as one that integrates a hitch into it.

keep the ideas comming guys!! the more ideas i get the more stuff i can produce!

i am also looking for a tire carrier that goes in the bed, not at the end, but want to be able to use the rearview mirror at the same time. 4 wheel parts has them but i don't buy from them.

not exactly sure i'm following you on this one. you want a carrier that bolts to the inside of the bed? holds the tire horizontal, angled, or vertical?
